Hi, I'm Jenson! I design for a living and, fair warning: if we go out to eat, I'll redesign the menu before deciding what to order.

I started sewing in high school, my own clothes and my best friend's too, sometimes lining the cuffs of our guy friends' jeans with the same fabric as our skirts so we could all match. Apparently that impulse never left.

I came up through American Apparel and LA's hospitality scene, moved into high-volume product and packaging design, and for the past several years I've run my own studio in Portland, building brands, products, and packaging. You might cuddle a plush toy I made for Safeway, or light a candle I created, vessel to scent, for TJX.

I'm also a painter. That's where my color sense comes from: thousands of hours mixing paint and paying attention. I love new tools almost as much as my vintage Bernina, and I'm the one who actually reads Adobe's release notes.

What I want next: a strong team, high standards, and work that moves from idea to real life.
